In crime, throughout history, humans have been seen as the strongest link.
For many years now, the security industry and related big tech argue that examples of human hyper-criminality such as 9/11, Ukraine’s invasion by Putin’s Russia, and now Hamas’s extraordinary levels of sheer brutality in both their acts and their strategising, primarily require massively automated machine surveillance. At its best, this covers off where, when and who. But it doesn’t work so well with new whats and hows.
